July 2013: Week One

Now, to the Blog at hand:
I was quite concerned after, in the last hour of June 2013, my phone was stolen. Tis just a possession that can be replaced-minus my personal treasury of photos & voice notes of auntie’s growing babies, song ideas, etc…. I’m over it… well, getting over it. Back to the concern: I was most troubled because I had family coming to town, future bookings to finalize AND two shows to promote on the fly with no smart device or working computer. Lawd a mercy… HOWEVER, it turned out that my aforementioned worry was unmerited… When I tell you my supporters showed up WITH FORCE this weekend, I mean it is a major understatement! Y’all, even one of my new Zumba instructors came to a show! Bananas! I am abundantly blessed and I’m sooooooo grateful!!!  Thanks to all who came out to Casselmans and/or Jazz@Jack’s to hear little ol’ me!  TWAS A BLAST!!!
And, last night was the FIRST TIME my big sister LONNI (and many other family members) heard/saw me perform as an adult….You know, the professional JoFoKe of it all! That’s BIG!!!! GIVE THANKS! 😉 <3 <3 <3
